Hugh on the Lysander, "there was no armament left on the aircraft, it would all have been removed to reduce the amount of weight, the only armament, one had was a small hand gun in the front cockpit. Hugh Verity

Hugh Verity was an RAF fighter pilot and later a "special duties" squadron pilot working with SOE landing in occupied France to insert and extract agents. He was decorated for gallantry 5 times!
